It gives me a great pleasure to introduce the Computer Science and Engineering department as one of the best departments of Walchand Institute of Technology that runs UG and PG programmes. It has always been one of the top in-demand career choices for young aspirants, because this field branches out into numerous specializations, thereby creating a host of career paths for Computer Engineers. We have excellent academic records with 100% results, university ranks, and gold medalists in our final year. We also run computational courses for students, which make them aware of the latest trends in the industry. Our sound teaching and learning process takes care of the students’ all round development that prepares them for the rapidly evolving technologies in software industries
The department has been accredited twice by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) New Delhi. It has MoUs with industries such as Infosys Pvt Limited, , Red Hat Academy , Earth Solutions Pvt. Ltd. , Eywa Solutions and Immortalcode software solutions Pvt Ltd. The interaction with the industry has helped our students get internships, training, Guidance for problem-solving in Smart India Hackathon and sponsored projects.
The students are encouraged to participate in several co-curricular activities conducted by the students’ club, the CSI students’ chapter, Coding club and technical symposiums, which help them, develop their technical, professional, and soft skills required in a wide range of careers.
The vision of the department is to impart quality education in the field of Computer Science & Engineering and to produce globally competent engineers who will aim for the overall sustainable development of the society.
