In today’s era of digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning play a vital role in shaping industries and society. To align with these advancements, the department emphasizes a strong academic foundation supported by continuous learning, practical exposure and skill development.
The department follows a student-centric and outcome-based approach to teaching and learning, integrating laboratory-based practice, project development, coding exercises, seminars, and collaborative activities. This enables students to develop strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and practical competence in AI-driven solutions.
The department continues to strengthen academic engagement in core and emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI and Intelligent Systems through expert sessions, hands-on training and experiential learning activities. Equal importance is given to professional ethics, responsible use of technology and overall personality development.
Students are encouraged to actively participate in technical competitions, hackathons, certification programs, and innovation-driven activities to enhance technical proficiency and industry readiness.
